VOCATIONAL EDUCATION
Erasmus+ supports work placements or study periods abroad for students currently enrolled in vocational education and training (VET) and for recent graduates.
VET learners can spend a learning period abroad at a partner VET provider, in a company, or in another organisation active in the field of VET or in the labour market. The learning period includes a strong work-based component and an individual learning programme is defined for each participant.
In addition, the programme can support your participation in skills competitions.
VET/HE & ICDET
ICDET has extensive experience in finding suitable work placements for our participants. Placements fully rely on the trainee’s language skills and on their vocational training and experience. If necessary, ICDET will alter work placements in order to better fit the needs and wishes of each participant. We offer placements in practically every economic sector. The position offered is likely to be influenced by the applicant's English Language level, but also by the length of the internship, as well as previous professional experience and education.
For us, it is very important to put the student in the centre so that he is not a passive participant in the process of traineeship and accumulating new knowledge and skills. This means that he has an active role in searching, retrieving, selecting and evaluating information from various sources. In these activities, it is key to develop effective teamwork and constructive communication. In this way, students will form critical thinking and solve problems
We arrange internships in Bulgaria for
– Individual students or graduates
– Organized groups of students in cooperation with their school/sending organization
When?
We arrange internships throughout the year. The start can be any month as long as we have enough time in advance.
What duration?
The minimum duration of internships is 2 weeks to 1 year.
What host organizations?
We place trainees in companies and organizations in a wide variety of industries and of all sizes. They are Bulgarian, foreign or well-known international corporations in all sectors.
