4YOUturE+ is ICDET’s future-skills empowerment hub, built to equip young people with the mindset, tools, and confidence to turn ideas into action — and passions into projects. From your first business canvas to your final pitch deck, from coding your first line to networking at a European exchange — 4YOUturE+ is your hands-on experience lab for building a meaningful and sustainable future.

Whether you're a student dreaming of launching a startup, a NEET looking to gain real-world skills, or a youth worker training others — this space is for you.

Our Approach

Rooted in two powerful EU learning frameworks:

  • EntreComp (Entrepreneurship Competence Framework): helping youth understand how to act on ideas and opportunities to create value for others.

  • DigComp (Digital Competence Framework): empowering youth with confident, responsible, and creative use of digital technology.

4YOUturE+ transforms these frameworks into actionable workshops, challenges, labs, and exchange projects — always led by the principle of “learning by doing.”

Supported by mentors, real entrepreneurs, and peers, participants live the full startup rollercoaster — including failure, pivoting, innovation, and public speaking.

Main Elements:

DigiLab

“Test the tools of the future today.”

A creative and technical playground where participants explore, practice, and master digital tools through mini-projects and interactive tasks.

DigiLab is designed to demystify digital tools and technology through hands-on learning — not with long theory, but with short, engaging challenges. Participants learn by doing, trying, failing, and succeeding together.

Each lab is framed around a real-world digital competency, drawn from the DigComp framework, and connected to the startup world.

Sample Modules:

  • “HTML in 60 Minutes” – Build your own webpage from scratch

  • “Canva Showdown” – Branding and visual content challenge

  • “Prompt Like a Pro” – Using AI for real-life productivity

  • “Secure Me” – Gamified lesson on privacy & online safety

  • “Code & Coffee” – Chill coding sessions using Scratch or Python

  • “From Post to Podcast” – Learn media storytelling and publishing

Startup Sim City

“Build your business, play your role, change your city.”

A gamified learning journey where participants simulate the experience of launching and running a startup — roleplay style.

Startup Sim City is a serious game and roleplay adventure designed to make entrepreneurship fun, social, and deeply memorable. Participants form “companies” and assign themselves roles (CEO, Marketing Lead, Developer, Finance Manager, etc.).

They work together to solve business challenges, make decisions, pitch to funders, manage crises, and even navigate ethical dilemmas — all inside a fictional startup ecosystem.

Simulation Scenarios:

  • Product development with a limited budget

  • Team conflict resolution

  • Investor pitch with curveball questions

  • A PR crisis on social media

  • Customer feedback disaster

  • Scaling internationally – with cultural traps

Learning Outcomes:

  • Strategic decision-making

  • Role-based collaboration

  • Emotional intelligence under pressure

  • Systems thinking and adaptability

  • Entrepreneurial ethics

2Gether for Innovation

“No borders. Just ideas.”

A cross-border collaboration platform for young people to form transnational innovation teams and co-create meaningful projects.

2Gether for Innovation takes the vision of Erasmus+ one step further by connecting youth across countries, either in-person or online, to form diverse innovation teams. These groups co-design and prototype projects with social or environmental impact, learning how to collaborate remotely, share skills, and respect differences.

They simulate the experience of working in a real international startup, learning how to pitch, divide roles, and align on goals — across borders and time zones.

Project Themes:

  • Green entrepreneurship

  • Mental health and wellbeing

  • Youth participation & civic tech

  • Inclusive digital tools

  • Education accessibility and microlearning

Learning Outcomes:

  • Remote team management

  • Cross-cultural negotiation

  • EU funding ecosystem understanding

  • Digital portfolio creation

  • Value-driven project development
