i,CAST

The New Age Learning Platform

Welcome aboard i,CAST, ICDET’s video podcast–based learning and teaching platform, built for the new generation of learners and educators.

The world of education is changing. Students today grow up in a visual, digital, and interactive environment. They learn through watching, listening, and creating — not only through textbooks and lectures. At the same time, education systems across Europe are searching for ways to make learning more practical, competence-driven, and engaging.

i,CAST bridges these two realities. It takes the familiar and engaging format of the video podcast and transforms it into a tool for education, STEM learning, and project-based development.

Here, students are not passive learners — they are active creators, showing what they know and can do.

Teachers become facilitators of dialogue and practice.

Parents join as partners in the learning cycle, gaining a voice and insight into how knowledge is applied.

At its heart, i,CAST follows the ASK competence model:

  • Attitudes – values, motivation, and reflections shared in conversations.

  • Skills – practical demonstrations and applications in STEM and projects.

  • Knowledge – content delivered in simple, engaging ways.

This is New Age Learning: visual, practical, inclusive, and inspiring.
