Youth & Policy Dialogue
Key Action 3 (KA3) gives young people the chance to influence policies, participate in decision-making, and shape Europe’s future. At ICDET, we believe youth should not only take part in projects but also be co-pilots in steering the direction of their societies.
Youth Participation Projects
CDET develops initiatives that give young people the opportunity to engage directly with institutions and local communities. We create platforms where youth learn democratic values, practice active citizenship, and design solutions for social challenges.
Structured Dialogue
We organise dialogues, consultations, and forums where young people meet policy-makers. These spaces help youth voice their ideas, share concerns, and propose actions that can be integrated into local and European policies.
Policy Innovation
ICDET contributes to the development of new policy models in youth work, focusing on inclusion, wellbeing, digitalisation, and intercultural understanding. Our projects test new methods that can later be scaled at national and European levels.
Networks & Platforms
We strengthen youth networks and connect young people with NGOs, institutions, and decision-makers. By creating both digital and face-to-face platforms, we ensure young voices are heard and taken into account in shaping future strategies.
ICDET in KA3
Through KA3, ICDET:
-
Promotes youth dialogue with institutions at local, national, and European levels.
-
Develops projects that empower young people to take part in democratic life.
-
Creates inclusive spaces where diverse youth can contribute ideas and perspectives.
-
Turns participation into practical action that influences real policy.
For ICDET, KA3 is about giving young people the tools, confidence, and platforms to be co-pilots of Europe’s future, not just passengers.
REALIZED PROJECTS

The project stems from the need to support young people in creating a political consciousness, to encourage the rapprochement and reconciliation of youth to Politics, the institutions and policymakers. Young people today see Politics as "distant" from the reality in which they live, Politics from which they do not feel understood and in which they do not feel involved.
