Knowledge to Keep You Flying
The ICDET Digital Library is the central hub of knowledge, creativity, and innovation in our Digital Office. It is more than a storage place for files — it is a living airport of ideas where resources are constantly landing from international projects and taking off into new contexts, classrooms, communities, and organisations.
Here, every toolkit, guide, video, or template is part of a bigger journey of lifelong learning. The library has been built through years of Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps projects, trainings, mobilities, and collaborations, and is designed to be practical, youth-friendly, and inspiring.
-
For participants, it’s a place to revisit memories, strengthen skills, and explore new opportunities.
-
For educators and trainers, it’s a ready-to-use toolkit for workshops, lessons, and activities.
-
For partners and collaborators, it’s a reference point of ICDET’s expertise and impact.
-
For alumni, it’s a platform to showcase their stories, projects, and creative work.
The Digital Library is divided into zones just like an airport terminal:
-
Open Access Library → public lounge for everyone, with free resources to explore, learn, and share.
-
Crew Access Area → restricted crew-only space with editable tools, project drafts, and internal guides.
-
Passenger Shelf → a creative showcase of outputs made by alumni and participants.
But the Library is more than sections — it’s a recognition system. Every download, every contribution, every piece of knowledge you engage with can be logged in your ICDETpass, giving you digital stamps that show your growth.
It is not only about accessing knowledge — it is about belonging to a global learning community, where your skills and contributions matter, are recognised, and continue to inspire others long after your own “flight” with ICDET.
Open Access Library
Explore. Learn. Share.
This is the public zone, free for everyone — no login, no barriers. Here, knowledge is meant to flow openly, supporting young people, educators, trainers, and organisations worldwide.
The Open Access Library gathers materials created during ICDET projects and partnerships and makes them freely available to anyone. They are designed with a “ready-to-use” mindset: each toolkit, template, or video is practical, easy to understand, and adaptable for new contexts. It’s like a suitcase full of tools that you can carry into your classroom, training session, or personal project.
What’s inside:
-
Erasmus+ & ESC Toolkits → Handbooks explaining how to organise, run, and evaluate youth mobilities, training courses, and solidarity projects.
-
Youth Exchange Activity Books → Games, simulations, workshops, and energisers tested by ICDET and partner organisations in real exchanges.
-
Creative Media Outputs → Visual campaigns, zines, posters, podcasts, and short films produced by participants to raise awareness on inclusion, green skills, or digitalisation.
-
Training Templates & Lesson Plans → Pre-structured outlines for educators, trainers, and facilitators that can be adapted to any audience.
-
Final Project Publications → Research summaries, impact reports, infographics, and e-magazines that capture the results of international collaborations.
-
Thematic Collections → Curated resource bundles by focus area: Inclusion & Diversity, Media & Digital Skills, Wellbeing, Green Skills, Entrepreneurship.
Each download can be added to your ICDETpass as a Resource Explorer Stamp, so even informal self-learning is recognised.
Crew Access Area
Internal Tools for ICDET Members
This is the restricted zone — available only for ICDET’s staff, trainees, and collaborators. It works as our project control tower, where the crew finds the tools needed to design, coordinate, and deliver international initiatives.
The Crew Access Area is not just storage — it’s a workspace. Files here are editable, regularly updated, and connected to our project cycles. It supports day-to-day operations, reporting to funders, mentoring trainees, and onboarding new team members. Access is limited to ensure quality and confidentiality.
What’s inside:
-
Editable Templates & Planning Sheets → Project timelines, budgeting spreadsheets, dissemination plans, communication checklists.
-
Project Drafts & Research Notes → Early-stage proposals, needs analysis, background studies, brainstorming files.
-
Internal Training & Onboarding Packs → ICDET methodology manuals, facilitation guidelines, trainee induction materials.
-
Monitoring & Evaluation Tools → Feedback forms, assessment grids, reflection journals, quality assurance frameworks.
-
Backend Access Links → Direct gateways to ICDET’s shared drives, reporting platforms, and collaborative folders with partners.
Crew members automatically earn ICDETpass Crew Stamps, certifying their hands-on experience in project management, facilitation, and coordination.
Passenger Shelf (Community Showcase)
Created by our passengers, for our passengers.
This is the community zone where alumni, volunteers, and trainees upload and share their own creative outputs. It makes the library interactive and keeps the ICDET spirit alive through the voices of its participants.
The Passenger Shelf is an evolving gallery of stories, projects, and media created by young people who joined ICDET’s mobilities and trainings. It gives visibility to participant work while inspiring future travelers. It is moderated by the ICDET crew but belongs to the community.
What’s inside:
-
Photo & Story Galleries → Capturing memories, intercultural encounters, and teamwork moments.
-
Participant Media Productions → Short films, vlogs, podcasts, digital campaigns produced during exchanges or internships.
-
Youth Articles & Blogs → Personal reflections, cultural insights, and stories of growth written by participants.
-
Spotlight of the Month → A highlighted contribution chosen by ICDET staff to showcase inspiring alumni work.
Uploading to the Passenger Shelf gives alumni a Storyteller Stamp in their ICDETpass, officially recognising their creativity and contribution.

Flight Numbers System
Every resource is part of a journey.
To make navigation simple and fun, each item in the Digital Library carries a unique “flight code” (e.g., LIB-2025-017).
Just like boarding a plane, this number makes it easy to reference, share, and track resources across projects.
Quick Boarding Buttons
Board resources, don’t just download them.
In our Library, you don’t click boring download links — you Board a Resource.
Each button is themed with our aviation identity, turning every click into the start of a new learning flight.
Resource of the Month
Spotlight on what matters now.
Every month, we highlight one special toolkit, guide, or creative output from the Library. These featured resources come with a short story of how they were created and how you can use them..
Starter Packs
Curated sets for smooth take-off.
Not sure where to begin? Try a Starter Pack — a collection of 3–5 resources grouped by theme. Examples include: First-Time Traveler Pack (intercultural basics, survival tips), Trainer’s Kit (workshop templates, energizers), or Green Skills Pack (eco-friendly activities).
.
Search & Filters
Find exactly what you need.
The Digital Library includes smart filters to help you browse by topic, format, language, or year. Whether you need a youth exchange activity, a green entrepreneurship toolkit, or a video guide, you’ll find it quickly.
Impact Counter
See how far our knowledge has flown.
An interactive dashboard shows the Library’s reach: number of downloads, most popular resources, and the countries where they’ve been used. It’s a live map of how ICDET knowledge keeps traveling across the world.
