How to become a volunteer in Leipzig:

If you are interested in taking part in ESC, you should be between 18 and 30, live in an European or partner country and be willing to commit your time, energy and enthusiasm to volunteer for a longer period of time.

To apply, please look into the open places under the host organisations in Leipzig below and complete the application form that you find there.

The application deadline for all ESC projects is March 20th 2019.

Host organisations in Leipzig:

ESC - bilingual kindergarden: KiTa Hohe Straße (one place)
  • project dates: September 2019 – August 2020 (12 months).

  • project topics: pedagogy and didactics, afternoon activities with kids (age: 2 to 7 years, eating, singing, dancing, music, games…), creative activities

  • volunteer profile: age 18-26 years / French applicants because the kindergarden has French/German profile and French/German bilingual groups / language: basic German knowledge is requested (A2) / interest in working with children / some practical experience in the work with children is welcome

ESC - bilingual kindergarden: KiTa Thomasiusstraße (one place)
  • project dates: September 2019 – August 2020 (12 months).

  • project topics: pedagogy and didactics, afternoon activities with kids (age: 2 to 7 years, eating, singing, dancing, music, games…), creative activities

  • volunteer profile: age 18-26 years / Italian or English applicants because the kindergarden has bilingual groups / interest in working with children / some practical experience in the work with children is welcome

ESC - social cultural center: „VILLA Leipzig“ (two places)
  • project dates: September 2019 – August 2020 (12 months). 2 different ESC places.

  • project topics:

1) one ESC place: media laboratory (work with children and youth within media pedagogical projects, assistance of preparation, process and follow-up of courses and workshops)

2) one ESC place: cultural youth work (work with youth in music projects, assistance of social and cultural events like band projects; help in a community café and other social cultural fields)

volunteer profile: age 18-30 years / language: basic German knowledge is required (A2 / B1) / interest in working with children and youth/ active and interested in social and cultural work / please select one of the ESC places in the application and refer on it (media laboratory, cultural youth work or school social work)

ESC - international youth work: „Kindervereinigung Leipzig“ (one place)
  • project dates: September 2019 – August 2020 (12 months).

  • project topics: international youth work (support and take part in international youth projects), youth work like creative games and sportive activities, cultural youth education

  • volunteer profile: age 18-30 years / languages: basic German knowledge is requested (A2 / B1), good English knowledge / interest in social and cultural work / some practical experience in the work with children and youths is welcome

ESC - Montessori Kindergarten (two places)
  • project dates: September 2019 – August 2020 (12 months).

  • project topics: pedagogy and didactics, afternoon activities with kids (age: 6 to 12 years, eating, singing, dancing, music, games…), creative activities

  • volunteer profile: interest in working with children/ some practical experience in the work with children is welcome, interest to see and live the Montessori-concept, basic German knowledge, open-minded and communicative

ESC – After school care / nursery at Nachbarschaftsschule (one place)
  • project dates: September 2019 – August 2020 (12 months).

  • project topics: pedagogy and didactics, afternoon activities with kids (age: 6 to 12 years, eating, singing, dancing, music, games…), creative activities, after school, homework

  • volunteer profile: interest in working with children/ some practical experience in the work with children is welcome, be openminded and interested in free/progessive/reform pedagogy. A basic knowledge of German is essential. A plus is if the volunteers speak French native because of the bilingual profile.

ESC – youth club Rabet (one place)
  • project dates: September 2019 – August 2020 (12 months).

  • project topics: afternoon activities with kids and youth (age: 10 to 18 years; sports, music, games…), creative activities

  • volunteer profile: open-mindedness for all religions and social backgrounds, interest in working with youths and some practical experience in this field, asertiveness, friendliness and humour, German knowledge is needed.


Linguistic Workout! English communication competences for transnational youth projects

Have you ever had difficulties working in international environments?

Would you like to improve your English competences to work with E+?

Would you like to gain effective communication and better quality of your projects?

How about getting new partners and developing projects together?

If YES to any of the above, this course is for you!

The aim of this training course is to provide practical tools to participants to improve their communication competences (skills, attitudes and knowledge) in English for international projects within ERASMUS+ and European mobility and lifelong learning programmes.

The course is designed for people who wish to gain confidence and get new tools to communicate in English based on their existing knowledge. Because of that, it is intended for participants with an intermediate level. (A2-B1). It is NOT for beginners or advanced learners.

Coaching the Learning process for volunteers (European Solidarity Corps & Erasmus + Volunteers)

Main Aim:

The main aim of the project is creating a space, discovering and understanding how learning processes work. For both, mentor and volunteer, taking the most from their experiences and reflections to build fun and meaningful learning process along the period together. During the week train themselves to be able to support better the volunteers, and along the process, to become better mentors, coaches, supervisors, supporters, helpers…

Specific objectives:

  • Share, understand and analyse our own previous learning processes;

  • Share questions, doubts, challenges, mistakes, successes, tips and experiences, when supporting learning reflection processes.

  • Discover and understand concepts as learning to learn and self-directed learning.

  • Dialogue, observation, analysis, link-creation, feedback, mentoring, support, motivation… as concepts not just to understand, also to use and analyze.

  • Discover the Mono-Myth (Hero´s Journey), as a way to understand the phases from which volunteers may pass throughout the big learning journey of their experience, and understand the key moments for the mentors and supporters.

  • Understand the variety of learning styles, and learning theories (Multiple intelligences, Kolb cycle…)

  • Discover the different competence models: EntreComp – DigiComp - Lifelong learning Competences – Youth Worker Competences and Trainers Competences.

  • Share and discover existing tools that support the reflection of the learning processes of the volunteers.

  • Exchange and discover examples and good practices of the use of the learning experience while volunteering and Youthpass, related with the further studying, employability and being more competent in different relevant aspects of adult life (job, family, civic engagement…).

  • Design the implementation of the outcomes of the training in their future work with volunteers, considering their own work environment and characteristics.



Международен център за развитие на образованието и обучението търси 2-ма участници за участие в тренировъчен курс "Overthrow Boundaries of Migration", финансиран по програмата Еразъм+. Целта на този проект е да предаде на участниците нови знания и стратегии по основните теми, свързани с миграцията и да ги подготви за активното им участие в техните местни общности, страни и на европейско или регионално ниво.

Място на провеждане: Калимаки, Фестос, о-в Крит

Период на провеждане: 5 - 11 Март 2019 г.

Профил на участниците: 2-ма участници - между 20 и 35 г възраст. Участниците трябва да имат предишен опит и да са участвали в други тренировъчни курсове (поне 3). Основният работен език на проекта е английски. Участниците трябва да имат поне Intermediate/Advanced ниво! В тренировъчния курс ще вземат участие младежи от 10 различни държави, а именно: България, Гърция, Франция, Германия, Унгария, Литва, Норвегия, Полша, Испания и Турция.

Всеки кандидат попълва апликационната форма, изисквана от организаторите, като в нея трябва да прикачи и видео клип, в който отговаря на определени въпроси, които ще намери в апликационната форма.

Работната програма на проекта има някои специфични цели:

- да стимулира участниците да размишляват върху различните измерения на миграцията и мобилността, за по-добро разбиране на теоретичната рамка на миграционните тенденции и новата миграция в Европа и нейните глобални последици;

- участниците да споделят най-добри практики и иновации в работата с младежта, свързани с международната/местната миграция и мобилност и влиянието й върху младите хора в Европа;

- да се повиши информираността за насилствения екстремизъм като причина, а не като следствие от миграцията и влиянието на медиите, свързани с миграцията, др.

Настаняване: Участниците ще бъдат настанени в хотел Alonia в морският регион Каламаки, близо до Мирес - линк към мястото за настаняване: ВИЖ ТУК!

Всички разходи за настаняване и храна се поемат на 100% от организаторите на проекта, финансиран по програмата Еразъм+. След одобрение на кандидатурата на участниците, те трябва да закупят сами своите самолетни билети до мястото на проекта. В случай на затруднение при избира на полети, екипът на МЦРОО може да им помогне в търсенето на най-изгодните полети. Лимитът за пътни разходи е 275 евро на човек, които ще бъдат възстановени на участниците от организаторите в определен период след приключване на проекта. Преди закупуването на самолетните билети участниците трябва да съгласуват избраните полети с организаторите.

След своето участие в проекта, всеки един участник ще получи Европейски сертификат „Youthpass”, утвърждаващ неговото участие и придобити умения и компетенции.

Процедура за кандидатстване:

1. Попълване на апликационна форма за участие, съдържаща основни данни на кандидата, както и основни и специфични насочващи въпроси относно неговата мотивация за участие. Отговорите от апликационната форма биват получавани директно от организаторите на проекта. Срок за кандидатстване: 5 Февруари 2019г.

2. Всички получени кандидатури за съответния проект, биват раглеждани от организаторите на проекта, които ще се свържат чрез мейл с всеки един избран участник.
